Position Title: Controls Engineer II
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week
Summary of Duties:
Formulate and produce a complete electrical design package, which includes detailed schematics, cable routing diagrams, panel layouts, bills of materials, and material requisition forms, based on CAID Automation standard specifications and the customer’s requirements. Monitor and report progress toward Engineering Deliverables to management on a weekly basis. Debug and commission software programs. Design and develop control systems and software programs specific to customer and project requirements based on standard programming methods.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as an Automation Engineer, Controls Integrator, or an Electrical Designer.
The position requires the following skills: Three (3) years of experience with electrical design for automation systems; Ability to create, modify, and integrate new PLC and HMI programs (Studio 5000, FT View Studio, etc.); Experience developing system electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical; Ability to modify existing vision applications; Robot experience, such as Staubli, Fanuc, or ABB; Experience developing applications in either C#, MS Visual Studio, .Net.
